The Canadian federal skilled immigrationscoring standard mainly examines applicants from six aspects, includinglanguage, education, work experience, age, work arrangements and Canadianadaptability. Out of 100 points, applicants need to reach 67 points tohave the opportunity to enter the EE candidate pool, and then carry out CRSscoring, and can submit immigration applications only after reaching theminimum invitation points.
The six specific elements of the Canadianfederal skilled immigration score are as follows:
Language: English and French, with a maximum score of 28 points, of which the maximum score for the first language is 24 points, and the maximum score for the second language is 4 points. For specific scores, please refer to the Canadian language grading standard;
Education: 25 points maximum; 25 points for Ph.D. (Note: Doctors in medicine will be graded according to master’s standards), 23 points for master’s degree, 22 points for two or more junior colleges or undergraduates, 21 points for junior college or bachelor’s degree for more than 3 years, and 19 points for 2-year college 15 points for 1-year college, 5 points for high school graduation;
Work experience: maximum 15 points; 6 years or more 15 points, 4-5 years 13 points, 2-3 years 11 points, 1 year 9 points;
Age: up to 12 points; 18-35 years old 12 points, 1 point for each additional year from 35 years old, 0 points under 18 years old or 47 years old and above;
Canadian work arrangement: up to 10 points; if you want to get these 10 points, it is not simply to hold an employer offer. This work arrangement must be based on LMIA, which means that the employer needs to provide Labour Market Opinion (LMO);
Canadian adaptability: up to 10 points; spouse IELTS 4.5 can get 5 points, applicant or spouse 2 years Canadian study experience can get 5 points, applicant or spouse 1 year Canadian work experience can get 5 points, Canadian relatives can get 5 points 5 points.
