Family Visit/Super Visa

Overview:

A super visa is a type of visa that parents or grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents can apply for. Super visa code PG-1, its holder can live for up to 2 years on a single entry, with a maximum validity of 10 years, and can make multiple round trips.

Application conditions

· The applicant is a parent or grandparent of a permanent resident or citizen of Canada.

· The annual income of the applicant's inviter (children or grandchildren) meets the minimum family income required by CIC for that year, and this income will vary according to the size of the family. Prove through tax records (NOA), employer letters and other investment income documents.

· Purchase personal insurance for the applicant with an insured amount of more than 100,000 valid for at least one year in China. The insurance content needs to include medical expenses, hospitalization and nursing expenses, and expenses for returning to the original place of residence.

· Applicants must be able to pass a medical examination

Application materials

Applicants are required to provide:

· The applicant's original passport (required to be valid for more than six months from the date of return). If you have an old passport, you need to sign the last page and submit the old passport together.

· Photos, passport-sized photos taken within the last six months (color photo with white background, 3.5cm*4.5cm, the height of the face is 31mm-36mm).

· Letter of invitation issued by a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. The letter should state that the inviter will bear all the expenses of the applicant during the Canadian period, and attach a list of the inviter's family members and sign them. · Copy of ID card: 1. Scan the front and back sides of the ID card with A4 paper. 2. A copy of the marriage certificate. 3. Copy of retirement certificate (if retired). 4. A copy of the household registration book.

· A medical certificate

· Proof of medical insurance: It can prove that the insurance is valid for at least 1 year from the date of entry, and the insured amount is not less than 100,000, including medical treatment, hospitalization, travel and other aspects.

· Proof of income: 1. Copy of passbook and proof of deposit from the corresponding bank. 2. The deposit certificate and bank statement for the past six months. 3. Real estate certificate, equity certificate, financial product certificate, bank statement, car driving license.

· If the applicant is employed, he/she shall provide a letter of certification issued by the unit on the letterhead of the unit and affixed with the official seal. (Include the following information: applicant's passport number, salary, working hours, position. Approval of travel, purpose of travel, position reserved for the applicant and agreed time limit. Signature of the person in charge of the company, indicating his position, name, and official seal).

The inviter needs to provide:

· Invitation letter (indicate the inviter's address, contact information, passport information. Relationship with the applicant, applicant's passport number, applicant's birth information. The applicant's visit purpose, residence time, residence arrangement, itinerary, and finally signature of the inviter).

· The inviter provides the Maple Leaf Card or Canadian passport information to prove Canadian identity.

· Proof of relationship between the inviter and the applicant (birth certificate, notarization in person, household registration book, etc.).
